A free online two-day course for those girls starting Year 9 or 10 who wish to increase their understanding of the different specialisms within Cyber Security and be equipped with some valuable practical skills. Places are limited so don’t delay and sign up fast.
You will be part of a scenario, where you are working for a Cyber security company called Sirius Cyberworks. They are a fictitious company who create very popular games and Apps for Apple and Android devices. Unfortunately, disaster has struck and there has been a serious breach of the company network. A new flagship App has been leaked and your role is to work with others through four different parts of the company, uncovering what’s happened and learning new cyber skills along the way. Each course will run as half day sessions over two days where the content will be delivered in our usual fun and interesting way. Students will be automatically assigned either a morning or afternoon session when their place is confirmed.

To book a place, female students should click on one of the links above and will be transferred to The Smallpeice Trust website which will have full details of this CyberFirst course. Spaces are allocated on a first come first served basis, so students will need to act fast to apply for a course if they are interested in attending.
To attend a virtual course, students will require access to a computer and an internet connection. Students will be sent information in advance to help confirm they have all that is required for the course.
